These scorpion lollipops are sold in tourist attractions throughout the Desert Southwest. I purchased this one as a gift in the airport for my little brothers in Dublin, but chickened out about giving it to them, as I thought candy without bugs in it would be a better present. The rock and the rose charm represent other Southwestern relics found as a result of having a desert childhood.

This window is 3 feet wide. It is a scene from my short story adaptation of the Greek myth of Icarus. Click the image to see the short story this image was adapted from.

‘Mind’s Eye’

This window was created as a visual interpretation of the diaspora I experience from my dual Irish and American identities, having grown up with parents from countries an ocean apart. The figure stands in the environment that I did not grow up in, but is framed by the flora of my home state of Arizona. .

This window is inspired by the band posters found in punk and DIY settings. My aim with pieces like this is to enshrine elements of modern life within a timeless and historic medium. This poster was taken from a poster that I made for my ‘One More Time’ zine. This character’s name is ‘The Great Filtura’, this name is taken from the scientific theory, “the great filter” which explains why moving to other planets may not be possible for the human race. The ‘One More Time’ zine is a work of science fiction that tells the story of a character who has a crush while the world ends around them. Click the image to be taken to my Zine Page.

Oh no! She dropped her bass guitar into the ocean! This piece speaks to human-made items being where they do not ordinarily belong.
